Raised by a single teen mother in Madera, Nelson Esparza is a public educator and true son of the Central Valley. This deep connection to his community drove Nelson's dedication to public service, as he was elected to the Fresno City Council in 2018.

Now, Nelson is running for the California Board of Equalization to protect the people of California, our values and tax dollars, so that our state can invest in our people, from education, to healthcare, public safety to economic development, and more.
